About the Event

Project Expo is a technical event for college students, conducted as a part of Christ Engineering Congress 2021 (CEC 2021). By participating in this event, engineering students will get an opportunity to show case their developed projects to the society, industrialists or other stake holders. Such opportunity can invite seed funding, industrial prototype development, buy orders from the needy people or even helps to ignite other aspiring minds. The developed project, preferably hardware project, must be innovative and should have social or industrial acceptance.

How to Participate

To participate in Project Expo, the participating team/student should setup their project at their premises and make video of the project with narration to demonstrate the working model for not more than five minutes. The narration must be preferably in English. The physical presence of one of the students in the video is mandatory. After making the video, upload in YouTube and send us the YouTube link. This video will be considered for the evaluation purpose. While sending the video, a photograph of the project also has to be attached along with Abstract of the project, not exceeding 500 words.

Evaluation Criteria

There will be a preliminary screening of all submitted project videos by the expert panel for the final round. The innovation, design criteria, performance, completeness, usefulness, etc. will be considered for the first level screening along with clarity in narration and quality of video. The projects selected for the final round will be presented through online platform during the Project Expo event time on 15th July 2021. During this time, another expert panel, consisting of experts from academia and industry, will be evaluating the projects. One of the team members must be available online during the scheduled event time and must be able to answer the queries raised by the expert panel members or audience. By this evaluation, best projects will be awarded with first, second and third prizes. All submitted projects are eligible to receive participation certificate for the team members.

General Rules and Guidelines for Competition

  • Each team can have maximum of 5 members
  • The competition is open to regular under graduate/post graduate students
  • A team member can participate in only one project submission
  • The video must be of length not more than five minutes
  • Send us your project submission to with subject "Project Expo- College level-Your Team Name" on or before 28th June 2021
  • The project submission should contain,
    • Abstract of the Project with maximum 500 words
    • An authorization letter from your college or all team members College ID photos
    • All team members contact details (Mobile Number and E-mail ID) with Name
    • YouTube link of the working model video
    • A photograph of the working model with team members (At least one of the team member presence in the photo is must)
  • Mode of evaluation will be ONLINE
  • The Judging panel decision will be final for the declaration of winners
